Brittany Kelly - Brittany is a Junior at Rutgers, majoring in Statistics with a minor in enjoying life. She strives to be a successful actuary, much like Ben Stiller in, Along Came Polly. Her dedication to the group has led her to be named co-captain and first team all-board game. Her extensive knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint and Photoshop has placed her in the driving seat for many more board games to come.

Robby Palermo - Robby is a sophomore at Rutgers, hoping to major in Psychology. His advanced understanding of the mental and social aspects of the mind have enabled him to excel in creating board games. His contributions include the practically world famous slogan for Field Goal Frenzy, and was integral in the game testing phases. His incredible flicking ability helped create the size of the game field and also the boxes for beta testing.

Joe Benedetto - Joe is a junior at Rutgers, with Communications as his major and perhaps board game design as a rising minor. His original concept of Field Goal Frenzy was developed with the help of the team to reflect the current work of art. Joe's dedication to the squad has earned him honorable mention and group DJ. Joe strives for game board excellence and trains for multiple hours a day.

week 3 - field goal masterpiece

defensive playmaker - A new rule constructed this week will allow for the defensive playmaker aspect to become larger and more significant. Instead of just receiving one player for scoring a touchdown in one flick, we have instituted a new policy allowing the "team" that wins the defensive playmaker to receive three action figures that they may place on the board at the same time. This makes the playmaker more important on an already large gameboard surface.
board game construction - Instead of just using one pizza box, to maximize profits and fun, we have decided to use two pizza boxes to form the full gameboard. This way, when you order the game with your pizza, you receive a half football field, including the endzone and field goal post all the way to the 50 yard line. When two boxes are ordered, a field goal frenzy ensues and a complete game can be played. Also, the field goal posts are designed with a mini field attached to the uprights. If you slide the plastic attached board into the box at the end of the field, the field goal posts will be in proper position for the game.

Field Goal Frenzy

Time Outs : 3 cards per team, given at the beginning of each game. The questions will be trivia style, developed specifically for Rutgers in this case. Players can use the "Timeout" card at any given time while the opponent is going. If they answer the trivia question correctly their opponent must go back to the beginning of their side of the board but still maintain whatever down it was before the card was played (example: 3rd down from the 5 yard line, would become 3rd down from the beginning of the board).

Defensive Playmaker: Using "football guys" as the defensive playmaker on the gameboard should add an interesting twist. If you flick on first down (your first attempt) and get a touchdown, then you earn a defensive playmaker. This piece can be placed anywhere on the board during a given drive during your opponents turn. It may only be played for one set of four downs or until your opponent turns the ball back over.

Field Goal Frenzy

Field Goal Frenzy

The concept of the game is a football field. You must try to beat your opponent through touchdowns and field goals.

Rules:

--Each player gets 3 "flicks" per turn to get into your opponents end zone.

--The ball must be hanging off the edge to count for a touchdown.

--Timeout cards will be given out during the beginning of the game. You can use a timeout card when your opponent is playing. Once you call timeout you will get to answer a trivia question. If you get your trivia question correct, your opponent's turn ends and has to go back to their end zone.
